Analysts note that this shift does not diminish the need for technical talent. Instead, roles are evolving toward oversight of AI-generated code, enterprise system design, and data security. 

Governments across Southeast Asia expand digital economy initiatives and global tech firms invest in local data centers. The region is positioned to lead in AI-driven citizen development.
